This one-day Safety & Awareness course provides foundational instruction for entry-level operators, warehouse personnel, supervisors, and employees who work around forklifts or other PIT equipment.
Participants learn OSHA regulatory fundamentals, truck classifications, and safe operating principles. Core instruction includes stability concepts such as the stability triangle, center-of-gravity movement, and the primary causes of forklift tip-overs and load incidents. Emphasis is placed on pedestrian safety, traffic control, inspection awareness, and fueling/battery charging practices.
A written knowledge evaluation confirms comprehension of essential safety principles.
