Participants perform securement calculations, apply chains, binders, straps, blocking/bracing, and edge protection, and review commodity-specific securement methods where applicable. The day also introduces complex and oversize load scenarios, multi-directional force planning, and development of written securement plans to support compliance and defensibility. Instruction includes scenario-based exercises, inspection techniques, and practical field or yard activities when feasible, along with written and practical competency verification.
